Volunteering at “Fleet” Hosted Meets
During the Short Course and Long Course seasons, CFSC will host several swim meets. You can either sign up online on the Fleet Web Site when you see the Job Sign-Up button displayed next to one of the Fleet Hosted Meets on Upcoming Events.
SERVICE HOURS REQUIREMENTS 2012-2013
All FLEET families with a competitive USA swimmer are obligated to volunteer and subject to this policy; the only exceptions are: (1) families with Copper-Level swimmers only, and (2) families with Competitive Prep and/or High School Prep swimmers only, who are not participating in USA swim meets.
Each family is required to pay an annual service hour fee of $150 in September, unless the family is a returning family that worked less than 8 hours last year. Returning families that work less than a minimum of eight hours last year are required to pay $300 at registration for the 2013-2014 year. To be refunded their service hours fee, families must volunteer a minimum of *30 hours (for Silver and above) over the course of the year (24 hours for Bronze, competitive Prep & High School Prep competing in meets), performing approved activities.
The club’s goal is not to keep your money, but to gain your assistance. If a family volunteers less than
eight (8) hours this year, then the family’s fee next year will be $300. All families that work eight (8) hours or more, this year, will be charged only $150 next year.
