Matt Hone

Coach Matt joined the fleet staff in February of 2007 as a Fleet First instructor. In September of the same year, Matt joined the coaching staff as an assistant in the developmental age group program. His prior experience includes 7 years as a summer league head coach for the NWAL swim team Inverness Forest Stingrays where he also grew up as a swimmer and developed a passion for the sport. Matt graduated from Sam Houston State University where he majored in Kinesiology and Spanish. He loves working with kids and is known for his patience and dedication to helping kids learn to love the sport of swimming and develop a lifelong desire to stay in the sport.
