Lindsie Micko is in her third season as the Senior Team Coach with Cypress Fairbanks Swim Club. Prior to working for FLEET, Micko was the assistant coach for the University of New Mexico. Mico was also the head coach of Snow Fox Swim Team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. There she coached nationally ranked swimmers, numerous state record holders and state champions.
In 2000 and 2001 she was given the Ernie Gunderson Award for advancing swimming in the state of South Dakota.
Over the past five years she has produced many fine top swimmers, including placing a swimmer on last years National Junior Team for USA.
A native of Brookings, S.D., Micko is a 1994 graduate of South Dakota State University with a degree in HPER. Her emphasis was in the area of fitness and wellness and she also earned a minor in spanish. To date, she has completed coursework toward her masters in exercise physiology.
Micko was a three-year letterwinner for the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits' swim team and was a team captain and named team MVP in the 1992-93 season.
Coach Lindsie brings ten years of great coaching experience at all levels.
