VAN OVERDAM MAKES ZONE SELECT TEAM!

Congratulations to Austin Van Overdam for making the 2010 Zone Select Camp

Each spring, USA Swimming sponsors four Zone Select Camps at various sites around the country. 28 male and 28 female athletes are selected in each of the four Zones. Two hundred and twenty four athletes have been selected for the 2010 Zone Select Camps being held in May. The Zone Camps, the second level of USA Swimming’s camp program, seeks to identify emerging young athletes in each Zone and offer them a unique motivational and educational experience. All invited athletes have received an invitation. Education, motivation, and training are the major components of each camp. Selected girls must be age 12-13 at the time of selection. Selected boys must be age 13-14 at the time of selection.  Austin trains in the Senior Group with Coach Lindsie Micko.
